Empower the merchants to understand the money they are getting from etika without needing assistance.

The merchants struggle to understand the daily settlement amount presented on the merchant portal.
etika is a “fair finance” FinTech that partners with retailers to give customers a higher borrowing budget before they shop.
Due to a lack of budget to conduct user research with our merchants for this piece of work, I conducted a Design Sprint (Spotify Model Design Sprint) with key stakeholders.
I worked as the only UX Designer with the collaboration of key stakeholders, in the discovery and delivery process.
I conducted Stakeholder Interviews with Key Stakeholder; after that, I identified the problems, goals, insights and struggles.

I created How Might We questions to help spark new ideas; after that, I worked on the Hypothesis Statements.

I conducted a Sketch Workshop with key stakeholders, such as Software engineer, Business Analyst, Sales representative. Each person presented their sketches and their ideas.

I created User Flows after the Sketch Session to help me identify the screens that needed to be designed.





Usability Testing is yet to be conducted with 6 merchants.
